❄ About the Director ❄
At age 6, Ashleigh Welch began private figure skating lessons in Charlottesville, followed by training in rinks on the East Coast for 16 years, and competing for the USFSA South Atlantic region.
She is a USFSA Double Gold medalist (Senior Freestyle & Moves-in-the Field), and has tested Pre-Gold Ice Dance, Intermediate Pairs, and ISI 8.
Ashleigh's training included coaches Serguei Kouznetsov, Kimmie Meissner, Chris Conte, and Luis Lovett. She is a member of USFSA, ISI, and PSA (Cat. A), and is a certified ISI Bronze level judge.
She has been teaching group classes for 10 years and private lessons for 8 years, and has experience teaching all ages and levels within the ISI and USFSA Basic Skills curriculum.
This is her fourth year as Skating Director at Generations Park.
